getting error 12 related to not enough memory

have a hp p7-1414 desktop 6 gbs ram amd quad core A8-5500 APU with a Radeon HD 7750 GPU power supply 300w DDR3 1600 MHZ MSI 2AEO MOBO. play the sims 3 game with 10 expansion pks. lots of Mods and CC's .computer well above game min. requirements. how can I increase the memory on this computer ? Virtual memory?

Open System in Control Panel.

On the Advanced tab, under Performance, click Settings.

On the Advanced tab, under Virtual memory, click Change.

Under Drive [Volume Label], click the drive that contains the paging file you want to change.

Under Paging file size for selected drive, click Custom size, and type a new paging file size in megabytes in the Initial size (MB) or Maximum size (MB) box, and then click Set.

If you decrease the size of either the initial or maximum page file settings, you must restart your computer to see the effects of those changes. Increases typically do not require a restart.

You can select System managed Size option.

This pretty much works for all windows.

Oh and the Custom Size 4092 mb each drive.

I have read in several forums I could set this at 1.5 times the gbs of ram is this ok?

Oh and if you need help with the sims three i all so play it as well as a matter of fact i am right now.

I tell you this game has so many bugs you can shake a stick at it.
