getting error when trying to boot

hey peeps my pc was freezing time and time again when playing games so i decided to do a fresh install with 8,1.
it installed fine but when i restarted to boot it up i either get a 0xc0000001 error or irql not less or equal.
ive tried re doing it and starting in safe mode.
when i try to repair it using my usb 8,1 windows repair it fails.
what can i do?

it sounds like there is the possibility of your hard drive having gone bad. Have you or are you able to perform any diagnostics on the computer?

no i dont think i have ever done it either, its kinda old so should i just replace it?
or what can i do to diagnose it?

Whats your hard drive model and model number, open up the case and look, right it down and bring it back.
Once we know this I can get you diagnostic software needed to make sure the hdd is fine or not.

edit: i found a old harddrive and i tried to start using that instead to se if its the cords, i can se it in bios but when i erased it and installed windows 8,1 it still wont start

Here you go give them a call if you can't get it to work, if they say its still warrentied, get your original email receipt and send it back.

if only i could get to the desktop, ive tried safe mode but now i keep getting "your pc needs to be repaired
the application or operating system couldnt be loaded because a required file is missing or containing errors
file :\windows\system32\winload.exe
error code 0xc000000e
ive tried start up repair but it fails everytime

Hmm there might be something wrong with the master boot record.
Read this link here carefully then try what ~loverofcode~ mentioned of how he got his fixed.

Try looking into a new hard drive, with this drive it'll help windows 8 and windows 10 be able to fetch and cache files much more quickly.
