I will be getting FIOS at my house soon. However I don't know what phone number to call for the purchase...

I have found 4 numbers on the Verizon/FIOS website.
1-800-837-4966
1-866-909-2198
1-855-551-1647
1-855-470-8217 This is labeled as "order new service".

Which number do I call to get a live person? Has anyone used any of these numbers?

Thanks for your help.

"I will be getting..."

Where did you go to start this process?

Thank you Math Geek for the help. You hit the nail on the head.

There is a Verizon store less than 6 miles from me. There website says... "Fios Home Internet Sales"

I will stop in and talk to a salesman with my questions.

Thanks again for your help.

no problem.

i have Fios GB service and have no complaints. probably overkill but got a good price when it first hit and so far they still let me keep it. hopefully they have a new customer deal you can jump into. :)
I have FiOS 100/100.
Changing would mean more $$, and I see zero need to change.
Have had that for a decade or so.

Take a look here for the latest Fios plans..

Fios plans

I'm getting the 300Mbps plan. It's only for my two home desktop computers.

I wonder what happens to the price when the price guarantee is up? Do they give you an option to continue with the plan you have?

i still pay the introductory price. of course i can't guarantee after the 2 year period, what the price will be for you.

that would be a good question for the sales rep when you go to the store :)

Over a 15 year span, my FiOS has gone from 15/15, to 25/25/, 75/75, and the current 100/100. Speed increased without me asking for it.
Only recently has the price gone up a little bit.
