getting frame dips, buffering, and lag in battlefront 2, looking for the problem

My build:
Ryzen 5 2600 OC-ed to 4.2Ghz stable with good temps
Asus strix b350-f mobo
2x4gb sticks of 2400Mhz ram
Gigabyte geforce gtx 1060 windforce OC edition
corsair 650w PSU Bronze rate
1TB HD 7200rpm

I've seen BF2 run in high 80's fps with a very similar build to mine but in the video, there isnt much going on in the environment such as multiple players on a screen at once with explosions and graphical stuff:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=siMBsTvyBgc&t=146s

Also, the map that he runs it on is seems like a fairly easy map to run graphics-and-textures-wise as opposed to Naboo city which I've experience the most problems running.

i dont know if its the server or my pc or my wifi but it happens on almost every map at varying intensities. Any thoughts?

Side note: have not had any connection problems in all other games I've played. I would think this game is no different but you never know.

Solution
8GB of ram is pretty low for today's standards, but I don't think it would cause frame stuttering. It should be enough to run the game.

Having just looked, the minimum requirements are 8GB of RAM, so maybe the RAM is bottlenecking the rest of your set up.
1. Drivers up to date
2. 1080p
3. MAX AA

I dug more into it and turns out 1060's just can't run it above 70 fps. I have a 75Hz monitor so thats the targeted fps but after looking at a number of ryzen and intel builds running BF2 I can say confidently its simply the graphics card.

thanks for the help tho!

How so?!? Correct me if im wrong but most if not all games, especially graphically intense ones like BF2, mainly use the power of the gpu, the gpu ram, and the cpu. mobo ram plays a very very little role in games and i believe is mainly exhausted through things like video editing and stuff like that.
