Getting game crash/blue screen on win10 with XMP enabled

Hi, as stated in the title I'm suspecting that enabling XMP was the main cause as this was the only changes I made before it started to happen. CPU would then be running at 4.2Ghz to push my RAM to 3000Hz while enabled which is my original plan. I'm disabling XMP for now and running at default 2133Hz, everything seems to be working fine and no problem so far. Any idea on how to work this out? I'd appreciate all the help.

XMP setting is not guaranteed to work in every configuration. You will need to manually enter some RAM settings to find stability at the higher clock. This may mean a combination of loosening up the timings and/or bumping up the voltage.

Hi! thanks for the reply. Do I send you the SS with XMP disabled/enabled? I'm sorry I'm completely new at this thing. I'm posting the CPU and Memory details with the profile disabled if you need any specifics do let me know.

CPU: Intel i7-6700k (4 Ghz)
CPU Cooling: Corsair H100i v2
MOBO: ASUS z170 Pro Gaming/Aura
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8) 3000Mhz

Spec sheet says it's tested at 3000MHz with 15-17-17-35 timings @ 1.35V (find this in SPD tab of CPU-Z)

So you can start with those manual settings, the rest on auto. Test to see if stable. If not, then go and bump the voltage up to 1.36V. If still no good, then loosen timings to 16-18-18-35.

Yeah those are exactly my RAMs and if I remember well 15-17-17-35 at 1.35V were the setting I had problems with. I will try pushing it to 1.36V first then I'll try changing the timings as you advice if that doesn't work. Hope everything will be alright and I'll get back to you with the results. Thanks!
