Modem: Netgear CM1000
Router: Netgear Nighthawk R6700
Cables: All CAT6.

Hi, I just did what you said. Still maxing out at 160 download unfortunately

Reset it to factory and only configure the wifi and admin passwords. There is a feature that lets the router bypass the CPU to get high speeds. Turning on even very simple things many times will disable this feature and your traffic can be bottlenecked by the cpu speed.

... I hope you are testing on ethernet and not wifi.
