Question Getting glitching in software after overclocking

so after overclocking my gigabyte gtx 1050ti 4gb oc edition, which i believe is just a very little oc. For some reason after overclocking my apps such as steam gets graphic glitches like rainbowish colour started appearing(specifically the top part of the steam software), pretty sure its caused due to overclock because not getting it anymore after i revert the settings. But i never heard anyone getting problem like mine because only the software is glitched when i minimize the desktop background is ok
