I have a Toshiba Tecra A3 (Old) and Acer Aspire 5720 (New). I want to get internet on the Toshiba from my Acer. Yes i know, i can plug the cable to the router to get internet, i know that but i need it in my room (Note: I'm not allowed to put the router in my room). Maybe i can connect the cable to both of my laptops and somehow do it?

I haven't set this up in at least 10 years but you could try configuring internet connection sharing. I'm sure there's a walk through on the internet somewhere.

I did a month of searching but i can't find it! Please can you help me search

Um I just googled internet connection sharing and was provided with to many links to count...

That's not what i mean, ok i will explain it a little bit more. I have an acer that gets internet ''wireless''. I have a Toshiba that can't get it wireless. I have a Ethernet cable, i thought i can plug both of them using the cable and getting internet on the Toshiba. That's what i meant.
