I'm really starting to get intrested in Pc gaming but need some advice and help on a build. I'm sure I could figure out how to actually build it but need advice on what to actually buy. I'm kind of a newb and have never built a gaming pc before.

Approximate Purchase Date: I want to build it before this summer

Budget Range: $600 for just the actual pc, I would go to $700 if necessary

System Usage: only games I want to play more demanding games like arma 3, dayz and star citizen in higher settings with good fps

Parts Not Required: I need everything but won't count this towards the build budget

Preferred Website(s): don't care

Country: America

Parts Preferences: i don't really care just want reliable brands, I don't really know what are good brands or what manufactures to buy from so advice would be appreciated.

Overclocking: probably not unless it is recommended

SLI or Crossfire: probably not

Monitor Resolution: (1920x1080)

Additional Comments: I was planing on using my television as a monitor but I'm not sure if it is recommend? Basically I want to build a console that I can play cooler games on. Also is it possible that it could be placed on its side with the disk drive opening sideways? I also really liked the gtx 970 if that could be fit in the build?

Solution
I couldn't design a computer for less then $700.00 that used both an Intel i5 Quad Core CPU (best value) and an NVidia GTX 970.

With the following design you will still need an operating system.

CPU: Intel Core i5-6400 2.7GHz Quad-Core Processor ($179.00 @ B&H)
Motherboard: ASRock H170A-X1/3.1 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($83.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2133 Memory ($39.99 @ Newegg)
