Question Getting intermittent b1 code on Asus motherboard after installing used GPU

Had a friend gift me their Nvidia RTX 3060Ti 8GB. About 25% of the time when I power on the computer from shutdown, the mobo reads "b1" and get stuck on the Asus logo for 1-2 minutes. Then, it gets to the login screen and works fine.

Most of the time it boots quickly in less than a minute with no issues since I have a SSD, just like I did with my old Nvidia GPU. But I'm concerned that I'm getting this b1 code 25% of the time.

Any ideas?

and what have you found related to this "b1" code?

if the card wasn't functioning then you'd have no display whatsoever.

i'd guess it's more related to the very outdated system containing this card.

include the complete system specs with the make & model of ALL components.
not just this brief description you've offered.
