getting low performance

hi, my pc is i3 4160 8gb ram 1x8 and r7 265
i play on 1366x768 and sometimes 1920x1080 i found that im getting lower performance that i should get ny gpu usage ranges between 50-80% and cpu between 70-95% in most games

Was that GPU running well before this happened?

i bought this gpu a month and that happend from the first day

It could be the single channel ram that is restricting the performance of your gpu. This assumes that the games you play are within the limits of the gpu and cpu.

I dont think the ram does affect more than 1%
i play games like gta v far cry4 watch dogs on medium settings
and when i saw benchmarks i found that the performance is very low

That is not that surprising as the cpu is not very strong for the games you play. Gta 5 requires at least an i5 to get smooth frame rates.
