Hello everyone! So i was looking at some benchmarks the other day, and what i noticed is that a lot of people are running games and much higher quality at better fps, i have the same exact specs as other people. I have an AMD FX-6300, a MSI GTX 760 OC, 8 GB 1600 MhZ ram, ASUS M5A99X R2.0 motherboard. People with the same gpu and cpu are getting a lot higher fps. For an exp. in Assassin's Creed IV people report that they are getting 50-40 FPS at High to almost Very High settings, but i can barely get 30 fps on High settings. When i am in crowded area fps drops to even 19! I can't even think about running the game on optimal settings that my GeForce expirence gives me. It really bothers me, and in that's in every game, like all the other games I go check the benchmarks and everyone gets 20-30 fps above me! Can you please help?
Thank you in advance! One more thing i havent overclocked any of my compenents, should i?

In my personal experience, Geforce experience has never given me an actually optimal setting. Not once. That's probably why your framerates are so much lower than you expected. I wouldn't expect any FX to do well in games, especially in a heavily crowded area (lots of AI calculations needed), but I'm sure it can do better than 19fps.

Seems to me, it's time for you to start playing with graphical settings. Min/max each setting one by one, noting the difference in FPS in the same crowded area (mainly in the city, right? haven't played assassin's creed since the second one). There's pretty much no other way to achieve an actually optimal setting.

Oh, and don't overclock if you have either/or a stock CPU cooler, bad case airflow, inadequate power supply. Overclocking will help, but do it at your own risk. If you can get over 4.4ghz, there are gains to be had. Obligatory YMMV here.
