N Nick Word Reputable Jul 12, 2015 7 0 4,510 Jul 12, 2015 #1 OpenHardwareMonitor says my cpu is at 50c and speccy says it is at 90c. My BIOS says it is idling at 40c idk what to believe. I am not overclocked. I am using the stock fan, I reapplied thermal paste, I cleaned the fan.

Solution G G GhislainG Jul 12, 2015 It means that the CPU is 17°C from the throttling temperature which is fine. You don't have much overclocking headroom. Edit: Speccy can't accurately read the APU temperature.
