Getting my graphics card to fit.. Need urgent help

Hey guys so I recently bought an ATI Radeon 5670 HD Graphics card to put onto one of my computers, the problem now is that the 5670 has this really big "grill" or idk what you want to call it, the metal at the end, is too big and collides with an integrated piece of my computer, therefore not fitting into the x16 PCI slot.. Is there any possible way to trim this metal part of remove the integrated piece without killing my motherboard?

Do you have a "slim" case? If so you will need a low profile video card.

No I do not, it is a regular case, its just that the integrated keyboard/mouse slot is interfering with the huge grill of the graphics card.

Exactly what case and what brand/model card?

Yeah... sounds like maybe a BTX motherboard is involved perhaps.
