Getting new mechanical keyboard, is it possible to control Razer mouse from non-Razer product?

I currently own a Razer Naga and a BlackWidow Ultimate(blue blacklight), but the BW is starting to give me occasional hiccups here and there, mostly due to an accidental spill a few months back that it never quite fully recovered from. I was looking at other (read: quieter) mechanical solutions, and I was eyeing the Corsair K90/K95 series, another BlackWidow (the stealth version instead if I do), or a CoolerMaster mechanical.

One of my concerns is the fact I am quite enjoying the ability to switch my Naga profiles on the fly from my keyboard. Is it possible to make the Corsair or CoolerMaster mechanical keyboards do the same, or is that limited by the constraints of the Razer Synapse software?

If anyone has any recommendations on an alternative mechanical, I'd also be happy to hear it.
I'd prefer blue backlit, but as my new case has mostly red lighting now, I wouldn't mind white or red backlit keys. The keyboard is used primarily for gaming.

Logitech's new G710+ maybe? It has white backlight, adjustable in 5 steps, wasd and arrows can be seperately adjusted from the rest; 3*6 pragramable buttons and it's fairly quiet too.

So you are happy with the clickety click of the MX Cherry Blues and the fact that they have a pretty high pressure application before triggering?

Just trying to figure out what would suite you best.

If you are a happy BW except for the noise and tactile response try the stealth version. I was able to find the Logitech (did not like it), BW Stealth and BW on display in a local Best Buy. My next KB will be the stealth. I use a Death Adder and also want the synapse integration. KB's are such personal items, I figure if you find one you like the feel of the key placement and features stick with it.

I loved the tactile feel of the blues, and I didn't consciously notice a high pressure application when transitioning from an old membrane keyboard. I'm not crazy about how loud it is though, and neither is my roommate 😛 I've heard red's are ideal for gaming, but I haven't gotten to try seeing how they are for typing.

Dogsnake - If I could find a BW Stealth in store somewhere in my area to try one, I'd love to. I enjoy the Synapse integration but would be willing to sacrifice it if there's a better keyboard out there. My only gripe is that Razer has moved from blue backlit to green on all their products, but I can live with that if the Stealth is much quieter.

Also, I did try the G710+ recently in a store, and I didn't really care much for it. I'm not sure what put me off about it exactly, because it's a nice looking keyboard, but I just couldn't convince myself I liked it as a replacement for my BW for some reason. The Cherry brown switches felt fine, so I'm not opposed to a keyboard with those in them.

I checked online and there will not be any available for 4-6 weeks. Seems like Raz. is sold out. Might tell ya something :) I felt the Logi. was mushy and not crisp enough for me. The regular Raz. was to noisy for my liking. I was sold on the stealth. My current KB is an old Microsoft Sidewinder X6. The key letters are wearing off! Might say I use it a lot. The best feature of it is the reversible Num. Pad. I right hand mouse and find great convenience to left hand the num. input when working with spreadsheets and an accounting program I use. I am so addicted to the setup I might just buy a stand alone num. pad when I upgrade to the next KB.

A local retailer near me has the K95, so I'm gonna go see if I can't "feel" that one. I'll happily take any other recommendations anyone has, though.

I'm assuming this is a "No" however on a non-razer product changing a Razer product's profile, though?
