[SOLVED] Getting new monitor for new pc

So im going to be getting a new pc soon probably with a 3080 and im looking into getting a 1440p monitor.

Im looking at the:
ASUS TUF Gaming VG27WQ1B 27" -$329.99
It only explicitly supports "Freesync." Its probably an obvious answer but maybe theres just something odd with pairing the two. So is there any negative sides of pairing this monitor with an NVIDIA gpu? or would anyone recommend a better 1440p monitor around the same price as that one.

Nvidia have said that they will support Freesync from their GTX 1000 series cards onwards. I'd say that you're good to go. Further reading.
