Hi all,

So here is the thing I have a gaming laptop and i want to connect it to a bigger screen that has gsync and higher refresh rate. I play all kind of games, a lot of AAA single player games, and my regular CS GO and dota 2 matches.
In CS GO I currently get 132FPS on 1080p but other more modern games i get a large range between 30-55 fps
lets say avg 40
should I upgrade screen to 1440p 144hz?
Can i still play games on 1080p if 1440p caused a huge drop in frame?
I want to use it for both laptop and ps4 so it should have 2 HDMI or 1 DP and 1 HDMI or 1 DVI and 1 HDMI.
I am hoping to get a good desktop hopefully by mid next year.

price range £200-£300
size 24.5 - 27 what do you recommend is 23 any good??

What do you think of the following

i hade to admit with what the others said, i would NEVER recommend anyone using a laptop for gaming. buy a dekstop pc, mid range class is enough for gaming medium-high settings and you good to go.

if you say 30-40 fps which sounds horrible and unplayable.. its the gpu in your laptop which holds you back the most.
