For the $10 you'd be better off with the retail CPU, you can save on the HSF if you're not seriously overclocking and the warranty is better on the retail. That's a Tier II PSU with module cabling. You'll have to decide if the Thermaltake is $85 better than the Antic

Antec 900 is a VERY good case with better cooling then the one you listed by a good amount. The Zalman 9700 is all you will ever need for air cooling. Antec makes what is probably the most widely used PSU in the biz. They are top tier. Any 850 should do you fine unless you plan on SLI 8800 Ultras or something.

So far the venders are saying and MS that the current line of 8800 cards are not compatable with the next version of DX10. The only cards out atm that are is ATI 3800s. I would look into this before spending money and finding out you dont get 10-20% performance boost from the new DX.

well considering im using xp dx 10 doesnt matter to me in the slighest, and 850 watt psu is way more then i need for anything including sli also the fans that come with the case are loud and ineffiecent, and the zalman 9700 is 60 bones which is right around twice the price i would like to spend the reason im looking at a 700watt is because its the perfect amount for sli when i do plan on doing it and the antec is in the second tier i believe, so i do thankyou for chiming in

Must have looked at the wrong PSU, the one I saw was around $180. Seagate makes good drives and are available in the size range you're interested. Still suggest you compare the warranty between OEM and retail CPUs, the latter is 3 years
