Getting Rid Of Thermal Paste

So I want to get rid of my stock fan and put a new one on, but there is some left over thermal paste... I know that to get rid of it you need 70-90% alcohol, but my question is this.. Where do you get it from and what type? Is it just stuff you get from the supermarket, or do you need to go to like a computer store? Thanks

Yes any rubbing alcohol should work fine. Cleaning it messy though, so be careful not to get any chunks of it on your motherboard.

No. Non-Drinkable rubbing alcohol or Isopropyl alcohol from a local drug store/chemist. DO NOT use anything you'd drink! I bought this from the local Walgreens.
