Getting rid of 'zone friends'

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.games.zone (More info?)

How can I get rid of this? Even if I close it it inists on dropping into the
system tray, and restarts every time I go back to the gamezone.

It is a "feature" that you get when you go into the zone.

Yes, closing it does not get rid of it entirely, it goes to the systray.
However, if you right click the icon in the systray and select "exit" it
will go away until the next time you enter the zone.
