I built my pc a few months ago and recently changed out some parts to include a better motherboard and processor. Are the drivers that come with the equipment and windows usually good enough, or should I override the defaults with different drivers? I havent noticed any compatibility issues, but wondering if anything can be made to run more efficiently.

I have:
Asus Z170m-plus mobo
i5 6500 cpu
AMD R9 270x gpu

It's best to intel( https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/20775/Intel-Chipset-Device-Software-INF-Update-Utility- ) and realtek(or whatever audio you have).
As for the GPU drivers, ALWAYS get the latest from AMD and keep them updated.
