Getting the old descent games

Hi I play the old descent games often, and I bought it off gog games as it it the only one I know of that supports the game for newer computers. My friend now wants to download descent, and Its not on gog games or steam ( steam didn't even work anyway). where can I get a version of descent that works on windows 10

nowhere, old descent used to run on D.O.S.

you need to run freedos on virtualbox

search on google for manuals on how to load old D.O.S. games in a virtual machine, the files, if i remember correctly, the old descent 1 and 2 are abandonware now, so free for everyone

well, learn is the way to go, there is a couple dos emulators out there, do a search for freedos or dosbox emulators, perhaps is what you need, otherwise, let him watch videos of how other play it

or let him learn, learn is good, especially for people who doesn't know nothing, especially this time when people should know something about os and pcs
