I have previously looked and know that all SSD's will be compatible with my PC, but I want to know if the SSD will physically fit in my case alongside my current hard drive. This may sound like a stupid question!
This is the SSD I'm looking buy: http://www.ebuyer.com/539151-samsung-120gb-ssd-840-evo-ssd-only-mz-7te120bw
This has my PC specs: http://globalsp.ts.fujitsu.com/dmsp/Publications/public/ds-ESPRIMO-P400-E85.pdf
Also would I need to purchase anything else such as adapter cables?

Cheers!
Matt

You are good.
The ssd is small and light , and can even lay on the bottom of the case, perhaps secured with duct tape if you need to.
Your case probably has mounting space for 3.5" conventional hard drives. There are 3.5 to 2.5 mounting kits to let you mount there if you want. Some samung packages will have such an adapter as well as a sata cable which you will also need. Both are inexpensive. Here is such a kit:

Mostly the price premium for a desktop kit is not worth it.

Your psu should have an available sata power lead like the one going into your hard drive.
