Hello peeps, well I think it's finally time to build myself a computer. First off I have an HP Envy m6 which is about a year and a half old, it's a bit beat up since I didn't really know how to take care of it back when I first got it. It starts overheating whenever I play League of Legends so I have to keep a mini fan next to the air vents for it not to overheat and hibernate while I am playing. Anyways, so I wanted to play some Far Cry but then I realized my computer wouldn't just hibernate but it would blow up (hyperbole) so I thought to myself I need to really start saving up for a decent entry level gaming build so I can run games at at least medium with 30-60fps, but I need some goal like a list of parts I need to buy before I start saving because if I don't have something in my mind then I don't think I'll be motivated to save up so here I am. I'll just follow the guide and paste this:

Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: this week (the closer the better)
Still saving, not sure hopefully by December... but I want to have a list now.

Budget Range: (e.g.: 300-400) Before / After Rebates; Before / After Shipping
$600, $650 max after tax, don't include rebates, those take long to process, plus I am a teen I don't know much lol.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: (e.g.: Folding@Home, gaming, surfing the internet, watching movies)
Gaming and maybe mild photo/video editing.

Are you buying a monitor: Yes / No
Uh, I am not sure if I can fit that in my build, I have a small semi-flat(lol) screen tv that i can use a monitor so I'll buy the monitor later, for now don't include.

Parts to Upgrade: (e.g.: CPU, mobo, RAM) **Include Power Supply Make & Model If Re-using**
None, sorry it's my first time, nothing lying around my house either.

Do you need to buy OS: Yes / No
Please note that if you're using an OEM license of Windows, you will need a new one when buying a new motherboard.
YES! Don't have one.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: (e.g.: newegg.com, ncix.com -- to show us selection & pricing)
I really don't know since I am kinda "new" to this building thing, always have used laptops.

Location: City, State/Region, Country - we need to know where these parts are being assembled and whether there are good store-only deals available
Uh, ill just say I am located in California.

Parts Preferences: by brand or type (e.g.: I would like to upgrade to Intel CPU)
Doesn't matter, with my budget, any will do.

Overclocking: Yes / No / Maybe
Yes if needed to get a big boost on gaming performance.

SLI or Crossfire: Yes / No / Maybe
Not now, if I do I'll just make a new build since I'll probably have job by then lol.

Your Monitor Resolution: (e.g.: 1024x768, 1280x1024, 1440x900, 1600x1200, 1680x1050, 1920x1080, 1920x1200 or if you're upgrading please state what you'd want to get)
Don't have one and I dont know what my tv size is lol its in the garage.

Additional Comments: (e.g.: Need to have a window and lots of bling, I would like a quiet PC. Please also list specific software or games you're using)
I would like it to run games like Far Cry 4 and Call of Duty AW at at least medium 30-60fps to where it's smooth. Also H1Z1.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: (e.g. I'm having trouble running game X or my PSU broke)
Kinda explained it already in my intro, so just read that sorry, too lazy its 2 am I am about to hibernate (get it, get it? b/c my laptop...)

Thanks for any/all feedback, every answer is much appreciated. Night peeps, I'll check back tomorrow.
