Getting too low fps with gtx 1080ti

Hello guys

I am a bit stuck at this point.

I bought this gtx 1080 ti msi aero
When I installed drivers and launched Black Ops 4 everthing seemed just fine, and I was hitting some decent numbers in FPS, over 100

Afterwards I went to PUBG, and it immediately crashed when joining a lobby, over and over
Then I removed all previous drivers from the previous gpu and installed the Nvidia drivers.

I went to PUBG and it started just fine without any issues, but when I went to black ops 4 and ARK I was getting around 60-80 FPS on max settings, which seemed wrong.

Also in League of Legends I rarely get a little lagspike, not a big thing, but overall it annoys me that my card is struggeling on max settings, when I seem to have a pretty good setup, that should easily be able to run all games on ultra 1080p.

I now have GAMING MODE on in bios, and it did raise the fps a little bit, but only like 5 fps or so. (Also tried without and just loosing FPS)

So overall I want my card to run smooth at a higher fps, not struggeling in games, it is not meant to be struggeling in.

Play black ops IIII in offline mode (zombies etc) and tell us if FPS dips are still present.

Also run the game without msi afterburner in the background and see if the issue persists.

FPS is 58 lowest, and around 73 highest in Zombies Offline with Afterburner turned on

What's your cpu load and can you rerun the test with afterburner exited? Do not run it in the background.

It is soo weird, cause i'm getting 200 fps straight in DOOM, with no problems at all.

BLOPS IIII just came out. There are definitely going to driver revisions to boost performance in that game. The fact that your gpu is at 100% load is a good sign. PUBG is also horrible when it comes to optimization. How are your temps?

In black ops 4 about 80 - 84, and in League of Legends 40 - 45 Haven't checked other games

What's the highest FPS that you get in blops? I have an i7 4790k and a gtx 1080ti duke and I get between 80 - 120 fps.

try setting your gpu fans to 80-90% manually in afterburner, then see if you get any change

Nothing changes, it just gives more noise. I even got all the way down to 30 FPS in zombies when trying to buy a weapon in offline mode with 3 bots

The highest FPS I get, is around 78-80

I found the problem, dumb me 😀 Rendering scale was weird enough set to 200%, - I turned that down to 100, and it now runs smooth at 120 fps, with no drops at all
