Getting two different temperatures

So I have an HD 5770, and ATI Catalyst control center is telling me my card at full load is running about 75C, but then MSI after burner is telling me 86C, why so much of a difference? and which is more accurate?

the difference in temperature readings is due to the use of the different softwares you use.
I think msi afterburner is giving you the correct readings if your card too is msi.

No, my card is not MSI, its XFX

then i believe it is the ccc that is giving the correct readings.....afterburner would have given correct readings if it had been msi.
