Getting Windows From Hard Drive

Not that this has happened yet but I am a bit concerned. I build a PC and installed Windows and everything but I haven't got a back up drive. If my hard drive fails will I have to buy Windows again or is there something I can do?

Do you have the license key written down?
If not, Belarc Advisor can retrieve that.

Do you have your original install media?
