Hi. As the title says lately my performance is getting worse. Sometimes i even strugle to get double digit kills. Last year when i was playing with my old pc that barely could hold 75 frames on my old 1280x1024 75 hz monitor i was getting better and better and i was feeling the game almost always. In october i got a new pc, but the problem started occuring after i got a 1080p 144 hz monitor. Since then i dont feel the game, i cant stick to a specific resolution and crosshair, tried native 1080p native, 4:3 streched and black bars but nothing works. As some people suggested i took breaks for even days. Any tips?

There is usually always some "bedding in" time with new hardware, but it doesn't typically stretch as long as the period of time you seem to be having.

If you are having issues getting used to your new setup, try replicating your old settings: set your resolution to your previously used 1280x1024 (including your formerly used stretched/black bars scaling), set your monitor to 75hz (or whatever the closest value is that your monitor supports), and limit your in-game FPS to whatever your previous rig averaged at. Preferably, if you still have your old monitor lying around, switch back to it for a while and see if it helps you.

If tweaking settings and configuration doesn't help you, then you're probably just in a slump. If you need advice for that though, go to somewhere else like the r/GlobalOffensive subreddit on Reddit - this isn't really the place for gameplay advice.

Thanks for the advice. My old monitor is still with me and i will try to play some time with it. And yeah, this isnt really a place for questions like this but i saw a "gaming" topic and gave it a try.

are you playin comp or is this casual
Hi. I play mostly competetive, i have 620 wins so i played around 1300 competetive game. I only play deatmatch or wingman before a comptetetive to warm up. I played on workshop maps for aim practice but those didnt really help. Im still on a losing streak. I think in 2 month i went from guardian 2 to nova 1.
