Gf bought new GPU MSI GTX GeForce 1060. Changed my 1030 for that and now I experience massive FPS drops

Hi everyone. First of all my specs for desktop (I know they are not the best but since I was able to play Fortnite smoothly when I had the 1030 GPU I didn't really bother updating it):

- Intel Core i5-2500 CPU
- Intel Viglen DQ67OW motherboard
- MSI gtx GeForce 1060 3gb
- RAM: 4gb DDR3-1333 (I wonder if this is the issue because while replacing the new GPU yesterday I knackered the other 4gb stick, previously had 8gb)
- fsp400-60g ATX power supply

Since yesterday when I installed my new GPU as a gift from my Gf, Fortnite is impossible to play. Intense frame drops and stuttering throughout the all game. As mentioned above, I damaged one of my RAM sticks whilst changing the GPU.

Any assistance to what could be my problem would be highly appreciated. I had no problems running the game with my previous GT GeForce 1030 and 8gb também DDR3.

Many thanks

try this first
Download the latest drivers for your GPU place them on your desktop get
Display Driver Uninstaller from here
https://www.wagnardsoft.com/
remove everything after restarting it will probably be 640x480 not great instal your AMD/NVIDIA drivers and hopefully should fix your problem
