I have recently bought a Geforce2 GTS (ASUSv7700) and I wanted to see how far I could overlock it. the defaults are 333(memory)/200(engine). Is there someone who knows how far these card can be overclocked? I tried 370/240 but that didn't work, 350/230 also didn't. Please help me out.

u should try it step by step and not just enter some values
and another cooling fan and ram sinks will also do a good job
try gtu for good solutions @ www.guru3d.com.

The catch here is 'small increments'. How about start with 205/338, then 210/350. Then begin with 1-2mhz increments until you hit 215 on your gpu. Keep clocking the memory as high as it will go. You want to shoot for 220/400, but you won't get that unless you have set up some case mods for it.

I don't get much improvement between 215-220, with my memory at 390+. But moving the memory from 333 to 380 is a HUGE difference in fps.

Your going at it from the wrong angle-the memory can't keep up with the engine even at stock speeds, so increasing memory speed is the key to performance. Start at 215/380. Push the memory up until it chokes when you test it (for at least 10 minutes), then back it off 5. Then do your engine the same way.
