GF4doesn´t run w.VIA

Problem: GF4-MX440-cards(we have testet Leadtek A170T, Asus V8170 and Sparkle)are not running in Mainboards with VIA KT266A-Chipset.E.G. Elitegroup K7-VTA3-V2 you can only hear a beep, in a MSI K7-T266 PRO2-RU you hear beeps, too. If you take 5-10 Times the reset-button, the board will start and then it´s all fine. It´s not the power-supply, we use an Enermax 431 Watt. Interesting: DFI-AD70SC or Elitegroup K7-VTA2-V2 have no problems. We have tested all Bios-AGP-settings, no one has changed anything. Does somebody knows a solution? We have flashed the Boards with the newesr available Bios-Version.

I'm running a g4 ti4600 w/via266a with no problems. Did you remove the old display drivers before installing the new card? Also after installing, make sure you update drivers at nvidia

The computers aren't POSTing, so there is more than just a driver problem.

Are you sure all those cards are working? Do they work in other systems?
