Hi all,

My Graphics card died around 4 weeks ago and I have finally got the RMA through and entitled to a full refund. The card I had was a ASUS Strix 1080Ti. Unfortunately these are now end of life and I can no longer purchase one. Obviously I need to purchase a new card and my current options are 2070S v 2080S v 2080Ti - I am mostly leaning towards the 2080S; however, from reviewing my PC atm this could be bottlenecked meaning it wouldn't be worth it?

My RMA was around £800 and I am willing to spend more (around ~£500 more) to upgrade my MoBo and CPU if it would be beneficial. Please bear in mind this would be the first time I would be replacing a MoBo but I feel that I could do it following videos and guides as I have replaced several items within.

I have been looking at the ASUS Prime Z390 MoBo's but not sure whether to get the -A or -P model? Also CPU I have been looking at i7 series 9th gen series but unsure which I should pick in combination with which card? I want to run decent fps on 1440p.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
