[SOLVED] GFX Card Upgrade - is Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super a good replacement for 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB (EVGA)?

2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB (EVGA)

I am using an iiyama ProLite E2773HDS monitor running at a resolution of 1920 x 1080

I've been looking at:-
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super
Advertsied as -the best Full HD graphics card
Stream Processors: 1,408 | Core Clock: 1,530MHz (1,785MHz boost) | Memory: 6GB GDDR6 | Memory Clock: 14Gbps | Power Connectors: 1 x 8-pin | Outputs: 1 x DisplayPort, 1 x HDMI, 1 x DVI-DL

I use my pc mainly for gaming (primarily Guild Wars 2 at present)

Any opinion on this choice?

It's so-so. About 6-18% bump on average over what you already have.

What is it exactly that you want to know?

Any decent gpu upgrade is going to force you to also upgrade the cpu - in games that can utilize more cores/threads than your pure quad core can provide.

RX 5700: Between 15-50% uplift depending on games and in game settings.
