Ghost boot CD - with "optional" boot?

I don't know where else to post this...

I use Ghost a lot in our lab machines at work, and use Ghost boot CDs to boot into Ghost whenever needed.
But the hitch here is you need to remember to take out the CD every time you're done.

Is there any way to make the boot optional? Like when you boot up with a Windows installation CD/DVD, it says something like "Press any key to boot from CD..." and you have 5 seconds or so to do that, and if you don't it will move on to the regular boot (boot.ini file on the hard drive).

I'm thinking if I could add something to the autoexec.bat file on the boot CD or something, to do that.
If that was possible, the Ghost boot CDs could conveniently remain in the drive all the time...

I'd value any input on this, thanks.

You could change the boot order in BIOS to boot from the hard drive first...

That way, you can always boot from the hard drive except in instances where you don't want it. If the computers are new enough, they should also have a menu that allows you to select the boot device so that you don't have to change the boot order constantly.
