Ghost-Update for Windows 10

My pc keeps setting automatic restarts for updates. And it isn't a restart I can postpone either, it's a forced restart that occurs 15 minutes after the notification. After restarting or shutting down, no update occurs and I just get the notification again. Additionally, when I hit start -> power I get the options of: shut down, shut down and update, restart, restart and update, and sleep. No matter what I do, I can't get this update issue to go away.

have you tried the Windows update troubleshooter?

is there anything showing in the windows update page? check advanced options/view your update history... any failed updates there?

what version of windows 10 are you on? 10586?
