hi people im looking for a bit of info on a cpu I have just purchased but not yet fitted. I have a Gigabite GA 78LMT USB3 (rev.5.0) mobo. but if I put my AMD 9590 cpu in it will my mobo become fried or is it best I just get a new mobo aswell? any and all help would be appreciated

NO, NO , a thousand times NO

By all means fry both of them if you wish , but this is not a match that should even run

Buy a board with a 990 series chipset and the highest power phase count you can . Add in an awesome cooling solution [ H110i or similar] and it might run .

do you have any specific mobos in mind. I wasn't sure it would work coz of the heat issue despite both being am3+ also for heat cooling solutions would just a normal cpu fan work or must it be more elaborate ?

hahaha that's nuts. i would rather stay amd so do you have a mother board that would be best for this cpu in mind? and also i hear that a good cpu fan would be fine rather than some mad expensive water-cooling stuff? if you know of any motherboards and fan cooling i should get please let me know and i will look in to it. again any and all help is appreciated .
