gigabite gtx 970 xtreme gaming vs amd sapphire r9 390x which one is better?

i was gonna buy the amd r9 390x but after some research i found the gtx 970 xtreme gaming is a very good card so what should i choose?

The 390x is definetly better than 970. The 390x is more close to the Nvidia 980. 390 and 970 are more like the same.

you do actually, youtube is full of untrustworthy people faking a lot of stuff



290(x)/390(x)'s can spike well over 350w

they require beefy power supplies with strong caps



these forums are full of people with issues because they believed they could run these cards with anemic power supplies

and also my screen is just 1080 so i cant play on 1440
