Gigabye h97m mobo update

So, I just installed the mobo with 2 sticks of ram, but it will only boot up with one stick, and I read around that if I update the mobo bios it will most likely solve this issue for me and let me use both sticks. However, the bios update they have on their website does not work, telling me I need a windows 7 64-bit compatible one. Is there any way to make this work like going into bios and updating it from there? Or is there another version of F7 bios update I can use?

Use the GIGABYTE Q-Flash utility which doesn't use Windows. It's built in to the board.
