Gigabyte 1050 2gb

Hello guys
so today i bought Gigabyte 1050 2gb
so i have a few questions to ask
my Gpu fan starts spinning when the computer is on but after 10 seconds it stops spinning computer guy said that when it gets overheated it will start spinning
and the second question is that
my specs are
Thermaltake litepower series 550w PSU
1050 2gb gpu and DH61WW mobo and
core i3 processor
So i wanted to know is there any chance that my gpu gets burned cuz few years back my gpu got burned
The motherboard and processor are same i just changed the PSU
I m rookie in this stuff
So kindly forgive me if i asked stupid questions Thank you

That is normal behavior for modern GPUs - the fans will stay off when the temp is below 60C or so in order to save power. This should not damage the GPU in any way.
