So I am going to build a new pc for gaming/modeling and i was wondering what's better, the Gygabyte 1060 3GB or the Asus Strix 1050 Ti Oc. I will be mainly playing in 1920x1080 and I think i will play some soft games, like LOL, Overwatch, Csgo and some which need more gpu like The Witcher 3 or Dishonored 2. So, which one is better of this two? I could also buy an evga 1060 3gb, but I don't really know if it will cool well enough with just one fan.

Solution

The 1060 is simply a better card. I have a GTX 1060 6GB and it's great.

But, if you interested in saving a bit of money and if you are fine with lowering some of the settings in higher end games, you might want to consider getting this, it's on sale for $143 and is the same model...

Dishonored 2 was a bit more demanding then I thought. My GTX 1070 8GB had a hard time handling the game w/ high settings @ 4K. Tried on 1080p for the heck of it also... played much smoother, but still thought it would have done better then it did.

Well, it's 4K, hardly any systems can handle games at 4K unless all other settings are turned down.

Okay, just be aware it is not a 4K card.
