Gigabyte 550TI Question

I am running, as the title mentioned, a gigabyte GTX 550Ti video card. Recently I stumbled across this (http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/317219-33-overclocking) thread and found myself wondering why their memory clocks are all so low. Mine is reported as 2100MHz. Stock. 970 for the core, 1940 for the shaders, and 2100 for the memory. Can anyone tell me why there is such a difference in what appear to be the same cards?

im going to assume ddr memory, ddr= double data rate so your and his memory is the same 1050x2=2100
