So I just got this card for my birthday, havent installed it in anything because waiting on my motherboard and psu. but I been reading reviews and I am a bit worried now I hear its bad news

also should I send it back and get a different card?

Solution
From a value point of view, perhaps, yes. That also depends how much you paid for it. If you paid $600 for it, then yes. You might have benefitted more from getting 2 x 970 GTX's in SLi, but then there are motherboard and PSU considerations. But don't get me wrong. The 780 Ti is a beast of a graphics card - still. Just not very economical. Make sure that your PSU > 600W.
