Gigabyte 7870 OC problem

Hey guys I am having some problems with my gigabyte 7870 OC. For some reason the GPU is only running at 300Mhz and the memory at 150Mhz (the lowest possible settings for the graphics card). I have no idea why it is doing this, I have both of the 6 pin connectors plugged into it and i have a 650 watt PSU. Any help would be awesome.

it is idling to save power, it will only go to high clocks when it needs to. you set the highest clock you want it to hit and when you test it, it will use the higher clocks. You either need to read up or use common sense before you overclock your card, you'll end up frying it otherwise.
