Gigabyte 7950 Overclock HELP! Locked at 1100 MHz Core

In after burner i have easily achieved 1100 core and 1575 memory with core voltage at 1150

but i see many people over these limits.

I have tried changig the cfg file in the afterburner folder but it doesnt change anything.

i read in other forum someones response saying that the reference cards (gigabyte, msi, zotac, etc.) arent affected by the change in cfg. Please help!

I tried installing Sapphire Trixx and while i can put it over 1100 core and 1575 memory it doesnt allow me to adjust core voltage, says "N/A"!


With my current overclock i have about 40-48 frames on skyrim modded on highest settings with about 72 mods installed about 1/3 - 1/2 are graphics mods. The gpu temp in game runs around 65 celcius with the fan at 60% (My side window is grated so it has good airflow i guess?)

In afterburner settings tick the box for 'Extend official overclocking limits'.
It will ask you to either restart the PC or afterburner itself will restart, after that you should have access to higher clock settings.
