Hello guys. I just build my pc with this card. I turned it on and everything is correct. The fans are spinning (in both GPU and CPU) but when i want to connect my tv to the HDMI port of the GPU, the tv doesn't show a thing. I haven't update any BIOS but i thought that this will be detected by default.

I don't know what to do.

My specs
Asus Z97-a USB 3.1
i5 4690k
toshiba 2t
And the card

Solution
Try turning the computer off, then plug the monitor into the back of the motherboard instead. If that doesn't work, then unplug the GPU from the motherboard and PSU and try it. If that doesn't work, then put the GPU back in, and plug the monitor into the GPU. Then, really really really check to see if the CPU power connector is loose at all. THEN if that doesn't work reseat the CPU but make sure you have thermal compound and no bent motherboard pins. After the CPU is reseated try to turn it on. If the same happens, take the RAM stick out on the right and try to turn it on. If that doesn't work, swap that RAM stick with the one you took out. Then if that doesn't work, put both the RAM sticks back.

I hope there's enough thens and...

I hope there's enough thens and ifs in there to keep you busy :)

Let me know your findings.

That's too much dude. I know for sure that everything is working as expected ( except the gpu) but i do know that the gpu is on and its fans are spinning. I did what you said about unplug the gpu and conect the cable to the motherboard and it showed me all the basic stuff ( the ram, processor and hard drives).

So everything did come up on the screen when you plugged monitor into the motherboard?

That's why I listed that to do first 😛 Because it was most likely the issue. Fans running and no display usually means the CPU isn't getting power by the way.

Sounds like you have a bad GPU
