Gigabyte 970A-DS3P with FX 4100

Hello.

As the topic have gigabyte 970A-DS3P with FX 4100 and system cant start, monitor does not start, and the processor overheats after a while, everything shuts down. With ASRock 970 Extreme 3 processor works fine. Its possible that motherboard does not support fx 4100?

its supported with the b2 or c0 stepping of that motherboard.

I have exact the same motherboard and cpu with you... Previously I don't have any problem at all with my computer until recently I've upgraded my motherboard(gigabyte 970a-ds3p rev2) and graphic card(msi r7 370 2g).. But screen will split on everywhere when ever the screen got fast movement.. Like scrolling up and down in the browser.. Tried my old graphic card(msi gtx550 1g) on this new motherboard but same result.. Tried update driver or MHz/frame rate setting and tried many solution that I could find on net but no luck

For your case... Just wondering... Did you attach any cooling fan on top of the processor? Especially if you use any thermal paste?

Hi... Not sure if will help.. But for my case.. Delete the system reserve partition before format and installing windows solve my problem
