I am really torn. The G1 has been getting amazing reviews, but the Hybrid has much better overclocking potential, no?

Solution
I assume you wish to overclock this to its maximum tolerance. If you can afford the hybrid and want to geek out at lower temps go for the EVGA.

EVGA Hybrid:

JayzTwoCents got this card to 1484MHz
Gamersnexus got their card to 1514MHz

Gigabyte G1:

Hexus 1482MHz

I personally cannot justify the cost difference for the lower temps achieving similar overclock speeds.

My advice: Stick with the aftermarket custom PCB by gigabyte and spend the ~£60/$100 savings on something else.

I am going to wait for some benchmarks, but I do not think that the small performance increase will make up for the drivers and lack of game features.

But Hybrid one doesn't have overclocking potential like G1 Gaming SOC.Standard PCB vs Custom PCB

I've seen reviews of G1 SOC with OC up to 1555. The reviews for Hybrid OC are just starting to come out. Guru got it to 1514MHz while other have claimed 1600MHz potential without any proof yet.
