Question Gigabyte A520I AC - One long beep and then 3 short beeps

Hi,

This is the build -

AMD Ryzen 5 4500
Gigabyte A520I AC Mini ITX
Kingston Fury Beast 2 x 8gb

When I turn it on there is one long beep and then three short beeps. I do not have a GPU and want to connect the screen directly via HDMI to the motherboard.

I have flashed the motherboard with the latest BIOS which is F15.

Do I have to buy a GPU to get this to run?

Appreciate the help and happy to give more information if needed

Did the build work before or is it a new/upgraded build?

What Revision motherboard?

Perhaps:

https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_a520i-ac_e_1201.pdf

Verify that I found the correct User Manual. Confirm that the motherboard does indeed support all installed components.

Double check supported hardware via Gigabyte's website and QVL (Qualified Vendors List).;

PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)? History of heavy use for gaming, video editing, or bit mining?

If a modular PSU - were any power cables from any other PSU used for power connections?

Thanks for the speedy reply.

This is a new build

REV. 1301

PSU - EVGA 600GD 80 PLUS GOLD - brand new

It was non-modular.

Checked the site and everything looks good, also put it all on pc part picker and it says that the only thing I needed to do is flash the bio

https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/A520I-AC-rev-1x/support#support-dl-bios

I downloaded the F15 and changed the file to GIGABYTE.bin and put it into the motherboard and click the q-flash.

Did something for a bit and then the computer turned on and did the long beep and three short beeps

To essay you have no video card and the processor has no built in graphics so you must use a video card.

No
Discrete Graphics Card Required

From your motherboard page.
Note: Only New Gen AMD Ryzen™ with Radeon™ Graphics processors support displaying function.
