So as the title says i'm wondering what's the difference between these two motherboards the Gigabyte AB350 Gaming ATX and the Gigabyte AB350 M Gaming 3 mATX because they are both around the same price and i don't know which one to buy to go with my AMD Ryzen 1600 CPU and Asus ROG Strix Geforce GTX 1060/6G

As Mr. Blackbird noted: the one is an ATX form factor, so you get more expansion slots but it needs an ATX case.

The ATX board also has a slightly better VRM control scheme which should allow better voltage control for overclocking. I know because i had an AB350M Gaming 3 (the mATX variant) and it was very troublesome for overclocking a Ryzen 1700 whereas people with the ATX version had smooth(er) sailing.

You might check the audio section too as I recall the ATX variant has superior components if that's important.
