Question GIGABYTE AD27QD Usb Cable Problem

Hello everyone!

For some reason out of nowhere, my pc started not seeing the usb cable of the monitor. Because of this, i can't use OSD_Sidekick software anymore and i can't control the RGB lighting of the monitor through RGB Fusion 2.0 app. I tried plugging it out and in but it didn't work. I do hear the sound windows plays when you plug in a usb cable though. I have no clue as to what to do. I don't think the cable is broken because i'm hearing the sound. Please help me out, thanks.

I've tried plugging the usb cable into other ports on my motherboard and I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the OSD_Sidekick software but the issue persists. I've would have tried another USB cable but one side of the cable is a unique socket (the part where you plug it into the monitor) and i don't have a spare one. I don't know where i can get another. Please if you have any guesses, it would help me immensely. Thank you.

I dont see any unique USB there, just plain USB 3.0

Pardon my ignorance i really didn't know other cables like this existed as i'm new to pc building. I'll buy one and give it a try. Thank you for your suggestion!

Update: Its now working after replacing the cable. My advise to anyone who might encounter this issue or any AD27QD user out there is to be gentle with it. Try not to bend it or anything while managing the cable. And thank you Manea for your suggestions.
